Runway to Reality: The Finn Collection

In a previous post, we touched on translating two of our Spring/Summer 2022 design trends from fashion-forward, showroom-ready features to accessible, more mainstream fabric combinations. This week, our design team shows you how to apply those trend translations onto one of our most versatile collections, the Finn! We show you how the same style can be taken from avantgarde to everyday living.  Check our dealer locator to see which of your favorite retailers carries the Finn!

Fashion-Forward

We showed this at our last market in a winter white shearling–a showstopper that embodied the Warm Minimalism trend. Inspired by Aspen, this configuration was meant to conjure up images of lounging by a fireplace in a luxurious cabin. The simplicity of the Finn’s frame allows it to easily pair with fabrics like the statement-making and trendy Pixie (shown here). In this setting, the accent chair uses bold pattern to push the envelope.

Dress the Finn up or down with throw pillows from Sofa Pop!

Incorporating different textures can really elevate any style & give it a luxurious feel.

Keep it life-friendly with performance fabrics.

No seat or back cushions that need to be fluffed mean that the Finn is low maintenance.

The Finn offers tight standard seating for a comfortable, yet supportive feel!

Casual  Living

But don’t let the high-maintenance appearance of our runway version dissuade you from considering the Finn for a family. The modular pieces allow you to customize the collection to fit your needs. As the sections are armless, all the pieces can be arranged in a myriad of ways, to create shapes and sizes that fit your home. Additionally, the backs and seats are “tight,” which means they’ll retain their shape (rather than developing a soft, lived-in look), which can be helpful against the onslaught of everyday life.
