Product  Spotlight:
The Oakley Collection

As part of our creative process, we are constantly on the lookout for inspiration. Whether it’s something old, or something new, something borrowed, or something completely unexpected, we enjoy developing the next big thing from a wide range of references.  The Oakley sectional, first introduced during the last High Point Market, is a curvaceous example of this notion. Inspired by the iconic curves and styles seen throughout 1970s vintage design, The Oakley celebrates an era known for its boldness and innovation in aesthetics.

A Tribute to 1970s Vintage Design

A departure from the straight lines of mid-century modernism, the ‘70s embraced organic shapes and flowing contours that reflected a more relaxed and free-spirited approach to design.

And while our current assortment already includes pieces with curves, we wanted to push the boundaries further with The Oakley. We aimed to create something that not only captured the essence of the era but also challenged our manufacturing processes, ensuring authenticity in every detail.

Curves & Swerves

One of the standout features of The Oakley is its meticulously crafted backrest, constructed entirely of foam. Carefully cut to form a perfect cylinder, the backrest not only serves as a striking style element but also provides exceptional support. This construction showcases our commitment to marrying form and function.

In addition to its foam backrest, The Oakley boasts seats made from our most durable foam, ensuring longevity without compromising on comfort. With a 2.5 density base topped with memory foam, it offers a soft yet supportive seating experience that invites relaxation.
